FORelements as the most interesting Polish interior design blog in 2014 and as a participant at the design conference

Ja już chyba zaliczyłam wszystkie prezenty, jakie mogłam dostać w ciągu ostatnich miesięcy. Gwiazdka teraz będzie taką wisienką na torcie, a raczej na czubku choinki.

Zgodnie z zasadą „do trzech razy sztuka” właśnie po raz trzeci w tym roku trafiłam na listę najciekawszych / polecanych blogów wnętrzarskich w Polsce.

Tym razem, tak akurat w ramach świątecznego podarunku, zostałam wyróżniona miejscem pierwszym przez portal My Home, związany z fundacją Piękna Polska. Ranking zestawiła Ula Michalak, pomysłodawczyni Meetblogin oraz Bloggers Zone, a więc osoba, która blogosferę wnętrzarską zna jak własną kieszeń.

Ten wybór to cudowne podsumowanie poprzednich wyróżnień, gdy miałam przyjemność znaleźć się na liście przygotowanej przez magazyn „Follower” oraz wśród dziesięciu blogów wyróżnionych przez „iN Magazyn”.

Bardzo dziękuję! Bardzo się cieszę! Bardzo wszystko bardzo! Ale jest jeszcze coś…

I think I have already received all presents I could have been given over the past months. I guess, Christmas gifts will be only the icing on the cake, or rather on the Holiday tree.

According to the rule „third time’s a charm” for the third time this year I was shortlisted as the most interesting / recomended interior design blog in Poland. However this time, almost as a Christmas gift, I was awarded the first place by MyHome related to the Piękna Polska (Beautiful Poland) Foundation. The ranking was prepared by Ula Michalak, the originator of Meetblogin and Bloggers Zone, the person who knows everything about interior design blogs in Poland.

This choice is a wonderful closure of the previous honorable mentions, when I was hightlighted by the „Follower” magazine and by the „iN Magazyn” as one of the best interior design blogs in my country.

TRANSLATION of the verdict below: The author is a professional interior designer and art historian; a lover of the Mexican, boho and ethnic styles. In her entries you can find a lot of information on design, based on the profound knowledge. Coverages from festivals and fairs indicate wide research and determination to find interesting topics for the posts. The witty language draws attention and makes you stay here and not go anywhere else.

Tydzień temu miałam przyjemność wziąć udział w dyskusji o trendach w projektowaniu na ten rok i przyszłe lata, zorganizowanej w ramach bardzo prestiżowego wydarzenia, czyli Forum Dobrego Designu.

Panel podobno był burzliwy, przynajmniej zdaniem publiczności, jednak ja nie odniosłam takiego wrażenia. Po prostu dość dynamicznie wymienialiśmy się opiniami na temat estetyki, edukacji i poczucia piękna w Polsce. Fakt, temat pierwotny zszedł nieco na tor boczny, ale czy nie na tym polega udana rozmowa? Wniosek był jeden: jest jeszcze wiele do zrobienia ze względów ekonomicznych, społecznych i historycznych (biorąc pod uwagę powojenne losy Polski).

A week ago I participated in a discussion on trends for this year and the next ones. The meeting was held during a very prestigious event, Forum Dobrego Designu (Forum for Good Design).

The audience called our conversation stormy and turbulent but I don’t think so; I think it was rather dynamic and emotional. However, the main topic indeed was eclipsed by talking on esthetics, the need for art education and for design. We agreed at one point: there is a lot to do, considering the economics, politics and even history (especially, the postwar Poland).

Jak widzicie, koniec roku mam naprawdę wyjątkowy (odpukać). Ciekawe, co przyniesie kolejny, ale nie wybiegajmy za bardzo w przyszłość. Do 31 grudnia jeszcze wiele nas tu, na FORelements, czeka.

As you can see my end of the year is truly unique (touch wood). I wonder what 2015 will bring but let’s stay calm. There will be yet a lot happening here, on FORelements, untill the December, 31st.
